A cosmological theory of the universe in which our own galaxy is just one of an infinite number of universes that are mirrored on our own with slight variations based on the decisions of the inhabitants. They are also locally self-contained and inaccessible to each other. It's believed that this theory was created to explain away G-d as a creator of a unique universe or in panpsychist terms, to avoid explaining the cosmos as self. >'How then can it be said of the vast multitude of bubble universes that they are actual rather than merely possible? And if they cannot be shown to be actual, then the multiverse collapses back into our own singular universe, and the problem of the improbability of our universe, relative to a base of agreed laws of physics, remains unsolved.' - Freya Matthews [[Matthews, Freya (2021) The Ecological Self]] ## Sources: - [[Matthews, Freya (2021) The Ecological Self]] - [[Panpsychism]] - [[Living Cosmos Panpsychicsm]] -
