The Systems view of life is an outbranch of [[General Systems Theory]] which seeks to explain the origins of life from a systems perspective. [[@Murray Bookchin]] called this type of thinking [[Home/017- Posts/Spiritual Mechanism|Spiritual Mechanism]]. Or General systems theory with an eco-spiritual veneer. Instead of depicting the world as mechanical, it depicts the world as savable through technological means, and thus controllable. It places corporations as God, governing a technological/ecological dystopia. This allows capitalism and technocrats to keep their positions of power while selling people redemption for the eco-anxiety. All while not doing anything but spinning stories, like to Chobani solarpunk yogurt commercial. It's bullshit.
